AIIMS Nursing Officer Educational Qualification 2025
In order to attempt AIIMS Nursing Officer exam, you must have the following educational qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University.
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council
OR
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
Essential Experience:-
- GNM Candidate Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.
- Remarks – The required two years of experience as in above is as an essential criterion and to be valid, the experience shall must be acquired after obtaining Essential Qualification, i.e. after completing residency period of the course, declaration of result & registration with State/Indian Nursing Council.
AIIMS Nursing Officer Age Limit 2025
The minimum age required to attempt the AIIMS Nursing Officer exam is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years. There are age-relaxation criteria for specific categories SC/ST – 5 year age relaxation. OBC Category – 3 Year age relaxation. PWD Candidate – 10 years, subject to the condition that the maximum age of the candidate on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years. PWD OBC Candidate – 13 years, subject to the condition that the maximum age of the candidate on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years. PWD SC/ST candidates – 15 years, subject to the condition that the maximum age of the candidate on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.
The age limit will be calculated as per the last date of application submission ( 11 August, 2025).
